Privacy Policy

Six Fingers Media ("we", "us") runs sixfingersmedia.com, a website for our YouTube channel. This page explains what happens to your information when you visit.

The short version

We don't collect personal information. The site has no accounts, sign-up forms, comments, analytics or ads, and we don't set any cookies. A few services that make the site work do receive basic technical information, described below.

Services that receive information

Cloudflare (hosting). The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes your IP address, browser type and the pages you request in order to deliver the site and protect it from attacks. Cloudflare may set a short-lived security cookie if it needs to check for bots. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.

YouTube (videos and thumbnails). Our videos are embedded from YouTube in its privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com), and video thumbnails are loaded from YouTube's image servers. Loading these sends your IP address and browser details to Google. If you play a video, YouTube may store information in your browser and record that you watched it, as it would on youtube.com. Links to other sites. Links to YouTube, news articles and other sites are covered by those sites' own privacy policies once you follow them.

Email

If you email us, we use your message and address only to reply and to handle your request. We don't add you to a mailing list or share your email.

Children

This site isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
